Common questions

I cannot sign in or have not received an email

Use the email address on your director invitation. On your first visit, open that invitation before requesting an email link. Check Spam or Junk and use the newest message; sign-in links expire and can be used only once.

If you already created a password, use it on the sign-in page. Choose Forgot password? to request a reset. Once signed in, you can create or change your password in Settings.

If you no longer have access to your invited email, contact support with the old and current addresses so we can review account ownership.

My tournament is offline or waiting to sync

Keep using the device with your latest changes. Reconnect to the internet and open the tournament on that device. If sign-in is required, sign in with the same account, then return to the tournament and check its sync status.

While changes are waiting to sync, keep that browser’s data and the tournament copy. Do not clear website data or choose Sign out and remove device data. If asked to choose between device and cloud copies, compare them before choosing.

In Settings, the Web app card shows waiting changes and offers Test venue connection. Before working offline, open the tournament on that device while connected.

Another device is editing my tournament

Only one device edits a tournament at a time. Other devices can view it and check for updates while online. Choose Load latest results to refresh a viewing device.

To switch devices, first let the current editor finish syncing. On the other device, choose Take Over Editing and confirm. The previous editor becomes read-only when it next checks for updates.

Where are my old players and tournaments?

Sign in with the email arranged for your migration, then open Settings → Bring over your old records → Check for records. Review the counts and exclusions before choosing Import my records.

Prepared history may contain team names rather than individual players. A doubles history import preserves those teams in past tournaments without creating individual Players Library profiles. Missing source details are marked rather than guessed.

If no records are available or the totals look wrong, contact support before importing.

How do I send my results to Fargo?

For a completed Singles tournament with recorded games, open Results → Export and share results → Prepare Fargo email. The recipient is shown at the top. Choose Download Fargo results, then attach that XLS file in your preferred email service. Copy email details supplies the recipient and message.

A prepared email link does not attach the file for you. If your device offers sharing with an attachment, check that the XLS is attached before sending. Fargo submission is not available for Doubles tournaments.

How do I save or restore a tournament backup?

On a completed tournament’s Results page, expand Export and share results and choose Download JSON backup. Keep the downloaded file somewhere you can find again.

To restore it, open Tournaments → Restore backup, choose the JSON file, and review the tournament details. Follow the name confirmation shown. If that tournament already exists, restore creates a separate copy.

The spectator page looks out of date

First check that the editing device is online and has synced its latest results. The spectator page checks for updates every 15 seconds while open. Return to that page and allow the next check, or refresh it.

After the final result has synced and been published to Live Link, spectators should see the final tournament view. If it stays out of date, include the tournament name and approximate time in your support message.
